BIG RESOURCES

State and federal grants come in many different forms and for different purposes. The most common types of grants are for higher education (college and post-secondary education) and for small businesses. But there are a large number of grants for just about everything you can think of. Grants for healthcare and subsidized housing are common for low income families. However, there are also grants for Arts and Humanities that are not tied to income levels. There are also grants for certain types of business start-ups and innovation.

Benefits.gov is the official benefits website of the U.S. government. It informs citizens of benefits they may be eligible for and provides information on how to apply for assistance. Regardless of the level of government for which you work, you may qualify for one or more of these benefits.
