Strategic Plan
Over the last decade, the National Board of Director’s (NBoD’s) Strategic Planning Committee has developed and implemented some form of a Strategic Plan to report the activities of Blacks In Government. With the development and execution of the 2015-2019 BIG Strategic Plan, great strides were made in this area.
Audited Financial Statements
We have audited the accompanying financial statements of Blacks In Government (a nonprofit organization), which comprise the statement of financial position as of December 31, 2020, and the related statements of activities, functional expenses and cash flows for the year then ended, and the related notes to the financial statements.
National Programs and Services Booklet
The purpose of this booklet is to provide you with a description of the major programs by which Blacks In Government (BIG) seeks to accomplish its objectives. The material describes the purpose of the program, how it works to achieve its objectives, and how you can participate. You will note that each program relates to our overall goal to promote equity, excellence, and opportunity in government.

BIG Chapter
Interest Groups initially review all information contained in this package or on the web site www.bignet.org to ensure compliance with Blacks In Government’s (BIG) Policy 1:20 and set up a planning session with a Regional Representative to get an organizational overview.Â
